With 100 members this group has a long history of over 50 years providing members with great service. Besides the basic services of reports and daily flashes, this group has 3 general membership meetings that include educational and current topic programs as well as a very informative interchange and great networking. The focus is on the retail and wholesale grocery, drug, warehouse and mass merchandiser markets. The manufacturers in this group are the industry leaders in their category and all top credit professionals.
The Trade Relations Committee meets with major high profile customers and proactively represents the group in a forum to have informational meetings and develop a report for the membership that recaps the essence of the meeting. All Trade Relations reports are confidential and for the exclusive use of the members credit department.
Coordinates information on bankruptcies, insolvencies and out of court settlements. The committee serves as a proactive advocate of creditor’s rights. This committee over the years has been instrumental through its membership in obtaining some landmark court decisions on major cases as well as helping to develop the concept of Trade Liens as we now know them.
Three (3) regular scheduled National Food & HBC Manufacturers Credit Group meetings are held at national locations suitable to the membership, wherein the opportunity is presented for a discussion of mutual accounts and credit management problems of general interest. Members are encouraged to meet, engage in a confidential and highly professional exchange of historical payment experience of their mutual customers with techniques of deeply skilled administration of credit management and collection responsibilities.

In the event interim credit reports are required in addition to the regular monthly pack of reports, they can be purchased on-line through NGMC’s database. There is an additional charge for each report and members can purchase a contract with no expiration at a discounted rate.
